Today I took part in an introduction to bread making course run by Sue. It was a fabulous fun and informative day. We made 5 different types of bread and learnt so much. Sue has lots of handy hints along the way. Not only that but she cooked us a delicious lunch too. For a small group of friends who want to learn a new skill and have fun at the same time I couldn’t recommend it more.

The cherry bakewell went down a treat too. Order already placed for next week, infact I returned the same day as knew after trying the first loaf of sourdough, one loaf wouldn't be enough to see us through the week.
Can't wait to get my order next week. This is proper homemade produce baked using eggs from their own hens. Try it, you won't be disappointed.- Service

On holiday here with two fussy children when they suddenly descended into hangry mode. Stumbled across Gillings by chance and what a godsend - the smell was outrageously inviting and the produce backed it up. Treated ourselves to fresh, fragrant sourdough, the best scotch eggs I've ever had and the kids gorged on cinnamon buns and custard tarts. Cue quiet, satisfied kids and some very satisfied and contented parents. We took some focaccia away with us and it was mouth-watering even hours later. Beautiful, thank you so much. Wow, never had such nice scotch eggs. Sourdough bread and cakes. Just wish it wasn't 5 hours away from home.

Super friendly and super yummy 🤩🤩🤩
I took my son and his girlfriend to Gillings Farm to do Sue’s baking workshop after a rave review for a friend in my walking group. We had an absolutely brilliant time and enjoyed every minute - the time sped by! We made so many lovely baked goods, learnt so much and really enjoyed Sue’s company and warmth.

We have been out for a long walk today. We saw that this bakery was only about 1/2 a mile away. We walked up a steep hill to find nothing. It says they are open until 4.00 but there was no produce in the little wooden box or any signs of life. This was about 2.30. Very disappointing.

101Do you have a shop on site and is it OK to just turn up on your opening times?
Good Afternoon yes but we are only open Fridays and Saturdays 10am till 1pm.
